Supreme Court rules vehicle's mere presence is not enough for motor accident compensation

SC says compensation under the Motor Vehicles Act cannot be awarded merely because a vehicle was part of the sequence of events. Claimants must establish a credible causal link between the use of the vehicle and the death or injury.
